Jenny's personal healing journey and experience of NeuroMovement began soon after the birth of her children. In 2009, she moved from Kitsilano, Vancouver to the Cowichan valley. Her first child was born in 2010 and her second born very soon thereafter at 29 weeks (gestational age).

At approximately six months of age, her youngest was presenting with signs of limited gross motor development, not outgrowing the typical behavioral patterns of a preterm baby, was then diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (periventricular leukomalacia) and later Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Feeling desperate to help her son, she started traditional therapies, following all recommendations from their doctors and professionals. After a few years Jenny decided to shift her focus away from traditional medical system intervention. It was clear after starting series' of NeuroMovement lessons that her son's development and progress had increased dramatically. Jenny started researching less invasive alternatives for surgery and intervention recommendations in Canada. Her son then had 2 procedures, in Canada and the US, both upgrading his function and ease. Doctors' friends and family could not deny this extraordinary shift. In kindergarten, her son could not stand or sit unassisted, challenges with sensory and emotional regulation, and needed full time support/EA in public school. Today he is fully independent at school, getting around with a walker, and using his wheelchair only for outside long distances. He a sweet, wise soul, adored by all. He is happy, social, easy-going, with a mischievous sense of humor. He LOVES to read and is at peer level academically in all subjects.

In 2017 Jenny decided to start training to become a NeuroMovement practitioner. Now fully trained with all Mastery levels, she is working with children and adults. She has tremendous gratitude for support of friends and family through this extraordinary time.

Jenny's healing has taken her to new levels of peace and joy. Learning with Gilles Marin, Chi Nei Tsang/Tao touch, has been complimentary to Neuromovement with many overlaps. This work has brought clarity, feeling and understanding to deep emotional patterns. Healing is simple and yet not easy.

She has a thriving practice which continues to evolve and she supports beings on all levels. She has extensively researched nutrition and science-based holistic and traditional modalities in combination. She is honoured and humbled every day to be able to connect and support beings in this way.

Jenny's Behavioral Intervention work and experience as a parent of a beautiful special child with both physical and behavioral/cognitive challenges is invaluable; intuitively guiding families. Relating as both a professional and a parent with insights supports others in navigating often difficult circumstances.

Since birth, Jenny has found great comfort and joy in the water with speed swimming, Red Cross swim instruction, and Life guarding. In her late teens, she competed and traveled with her team to the Canadian nationals for Synchronized swimming. She is now also offering healing sessions in the water. Feeling another variation, floating, taken out of gravity can bring one to new levels of ease!

“With unconditional love, joyful spirit and so much gratitude, I am passionately supporting the community and universe beyond.” - Jenny
